Abstract: This paper attempts to investigate some aspects in the anti-rightist campaign that have so far gone unnoticed, such as the timing of the campaign at the grass-roots level, the professional status and distribution of the rightists, why they become rightists and who make them so, etc. The author suggests that the main cause of the anti-rightist campaign lies in the social migrating model, the contradictions inside the organizations, and the conflict between the means and the end of the campaign.
